Mumbai Police Recreate Crime Scene at Saif Ali Khan’s House

Mumbai Police took Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, the accused in the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, to his Bandra residence on Tuesday to recreate the crime scene· Shehzad, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national, reportedly entered the 12th-floor apartment in the Satguru Sharan building on January 16 during an attempted robbery· In the process, he attacked and stabbed Saif Ali Khan six times before fleeing the scene·


The police recreated Shehzad’s movements, including locations he visited after the crime, such as a nearby garden, a bus stop, and Bandra Railway Station· Despite no CCTV footage showing his entry, investigators are piecing together how he accessed the building·

After an intense three-day manhunt, Shehzad was arrested on January 19 in Thane· He had been hiding in a forested area and was planning to flee to Bangladesh· Police revealed he had been living in Mumbai under the alias Bijoy Das for four months·
