Saraswati, Devaki, and Sivaranjani's experiences are narrated in different historical periods, and we are taught clearly that things for women do not change even after decades. Despite living in a blissful married relationship, three people face identity crises in this narrative.

Because of the patriarchal structure in their own families, three women from various areas of life are experiencing significant identity crises. The film is set in three major periods of history and explores the powerlessness and other challenges that these married ladies suffer while having their life partners at their sides.
